Moreover, you’ll develop a versatile skill set encompassing communication proficiency, adept information management, administrative support capabilities, a strong sense of cultural and social awareness and the ability to provide support to members of the community.
Upon completion, you’ll emerge equipped not only to contribute meaningfully to community development but also to navigate the complexities of community services with confidence and professionalism.

ASSESSMENT TYPES
Learners are assessed via a range of assessment types.
These include: observations, questioning, portfolio, report, project & assessment undertaken during practical placement.
PRACTICAL PLACEMENT
Students undertaking this course are required to complete a period of practical placement.

PRE-TRAINING REVIEW
Suitability for this course is confirmed by the students home school as part of the school‑based VETDSS process. A separate pre‑training interview with Foundation Learning Centre is not required.

This course is delivered over the course of a school year, 1 day per week
Note – to complete the certificate, students must complete all of the course units.
Upon completing this course, students can continue on to CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services, explore further study in the Community Services and adjacent areas or seek employment within the community services sector.
