No, all prospective students and their parent/guardian must attend an interview prior to enrolling. This process allows us to discuss a students individual learning needs, academic goals and any wellbeing concerns, ensuring that Foundation Learning Centre is going to be the right place for the student.

Before students can commence, their enrolment must be supported and approved by their current school and the Education Department.

Students are provided with school laptops during each class to complete their work, which are to be returned at the end of each class. Class sets of stationary are provided in each classroom for student use as required.

With parent permission via our Break Form, students are allowed to visit the nearby shops and supermarket to purchase food and drinks on their break. Students are encouraged to bring food and drinks with them, and have access to a kitchen to be able to heat up food if required.

Students at Foundation Learning Centre do not have a specific school uniform. Students are asked to wear clothes that are appropriate for a school environment, and consider the weather. Students are asked not to wear clothing that contains profanity, offensive imagery, excessive rips or holes, clothes that are too short or revealing or clothes that interfere with the students ability to do their school work.

To enrol in one of our Accredited Courses, please contact us on (03) 9704 7388. Our VET Education team will discuss the course information with you, including fees and funding eligibility as part of a pre-training interview.

Fees are listed on each course page, and a Fee Statement is available via the Resources link on our website. A Fee Statement can be provided upon request and this can be discussed prior to enrolment.

In addition to the listed program fee, our Neighbourhood House programs incur an annual registration fee of $10 per calendar year for all programs delivered onsite at our Casey or Peninsula Campuses. For Neighbourhood House programs delivered at offsite locations, no annual registration fee applies.

We have a large hall available to hire with a capacity for 230 standing or 150 seated, as well as private rooms of varying sizes available for smaller functions and trainings. Please visit our Venue Hire page for more information or contact us on 03 9704 7388 to discuss your hire needs.

Venue hire costs are dependent on which space you are hiring and whether it is a standard or not-for-profit booking. To find out more, visit our Venue Hire page.

Venue hire bookings require a non-refundable deposit to be paid within 10 days of making a booking, with full payment required two weeks from your booking date.

We ask all students who enrol in an accredited course to complete a learner questionnaire upon completion of their course. The questionnaire is anonymous and helps us to ensure we continuously improve our courses and services.
